The famous city of Las Vegas is situated in the state of Nevada and is famous for its casinos, lavish hotels and spectacular shows.
A group of us travelled to Las Vegas in September 2009, from the Costa Blanca, Spain, mostly members of the Pilar badminton club, the trip was organised by Kitty.
This website will feature pictures taken on the trip and also useful information for others travelling to this fantastic destination.
Arriving in style, Gill takes the limo from McCarron Airport to the Flamingo Hotel, our accommodation for the 10 day trip (thanks Kitty).
Actually we were too lazy to queue for the bus and a couple of limos happened to be handy (the return trip in the limo didn't quite materialize). It must have been quite a sight, as we had much too much luggage for the boot, and it has to be tied up with string. I shan't mention whose suitcase fell off the back, but it was pink when it started the trip and black when it arrived at the hotel (that tarmac sure sticks when its hot!)
